Amy Marie DiFranco

Greetings! My name is Amy Marie DiFranco. I am the creator of Gaia North, and it is my passion to assist my community in reaching their health and wellness goals through yoga, massage, bodywork, reiki, and women’s circles. With my skills and specialized training in multiple healing modalities, I offer an integrative, trauma-conscious, and intuitive approach to all services. It is my goal to create a safe and welcoming environment to promote a holistic and transformative journey for all clients, assisting each individual to achieve a deeper connection to mind, body, and inner self. I am focused on supporting all clients in their pursuit of an embodied, fully aligned lifestyle while reaching their health and wellness goals.

Amy Marie’s Background

Amy Marie graduated, with high honors, from the Lake Superior College Massage Therapy Program in May of 2020. She received a diploma in Massage Therapy, attaining her Massage Therapy Certification. She continued on to take her Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards “Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam” and passed to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. Soon after, she enrolled in a 250 Hour, Yoga Teacher Training course in Duluth, Mn, with Svalja Yoga and House of the Gathering Yoga School, graduating with a dual certification in the 8 Limbs of Yoga, as well as Trauma Conscious Yoga. She is an RYT200, through the Yoga Alliance. In addition to massage and yoga, Amy Marie is a certified Traditional Usui Reiki Master / Practitioner, gaining her attunement and certification through Lisa Powers, in July of 2018. In January of 2021, Amy Marie completed her training in Meditation with a Certificate to Guide Others through Melissa Crowhurst. Amy Marie continued to further her massage therapy skills to become Certified in Traditional Lomi Lomi Massage through Mark Perren-Jones in November of 2021. Amy Marie has become a Certified Sound Healer Level 1 & a Singing Bowl Sound Healer in January of 2025 through Life Changing Energy. Amy Marie is also a Pro Level Cacao Ceremony Facilitator through Medicine of Sound.

Amy Marie has completed the course in Women’s Holistic Health Coach Teacher Training through Anjali Academy in April of 2022, gaining her certification. She is trained in the following: Women’s anatomy, the endocrine system, the nervous system, the reproductive organs, the Chakras, the Moon cycle, hormones, Yoga for Women’s Health, Women’s Holistic Health Coaching & Women's Circle Facilitation.

Amy Marie remains committed to advancing her holistic healing skills through ongoing education, aiming to support her community in achieving their health and wellness objectives. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, she eagerly pursues training across various disciplines, striving to become a comprehensive holistic healer and guide in her local area.

Amy Marie is also an Ordained Minister through the Universal Life Church Ministries since March 2, 2021.
